A core part of my identity is that I'm a nerd. I was a nerd before being a nerd was cool, and it's awesome that it's become cool now. As a child, I discovered the genre Fantasy and it is something I've loved ever since. I love Fantasy games, novels, films, and art. I've branched out to loving Sci-Fi almost as much, if not more. In school, I used to play dungeons and dragons with friends on Friday nights (which is also becoming cool, apparently). I've also been an avid gamer with RPG and Fantasy being my favorite genres. Some of my favorite book series include the "Sword of Truth" novels, the "Lord of the Rings" novels, and the "Narnia" novels.

In middle and high school, I got into manga and anime. In fact, my group of friends in high school is responsible for launching the Anime Club in my high school, which was difficult to accomplish because we faced a lot of push back from the school board on whether anime was appropriate for high school or not.

I've been an avid gamer since I got my first system, an original Nintendo. I got my first computer a few years later, and between my computer and my console, I developed quite a hobby. Some of my favorite games of all time have included "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past", "Horizon: Zero Dawn", "Path of Exile", "Warframe", "Borderlands", and a few MMOs, like Final Fantasy Online. I also play strategy games, such as "Factorio", "Sid Meier's Civilization", and more.
